Are you a technical expert who enjoys sharing your knowledge with others? Do you constantly recognize training gaps and can’t help but think you could do something about it? If so, then a Technical Trainer role with us might be what you’re looking for. As part of our Professional Services team, you’ll be at the forefront of our business. You will be responsible for imparting knowledge and expertise to our customers, resellers, and Ascom employees.

Your days will be filled with…*

• Delivering technical training courses/webinars to Ascom re-sellers, customers and Ascom employees.
• Creating and maintaining documentation for technical training on Ascom products and developing content and/or programs as required.
• Maintaining the training environment and all associated equipment to deliver such content/courses.
• Conducting surveys for student satisfaction after every technical training event.
• Working closely with the Product Management team to ensure adequate knowledge of solutions portfolio to enable the delivery of training to a high standard.

And you are…
Tertiary qualified in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related discipline with experience significant experience in facilitating client-facing technical training. If you are familiar with Ascom’s offerings or have worked within Healthcare, this would be advantageous. We would love to hear more about you, so please send us your CV.

Desirable Technical Competencies

• Experience with Windows operating systems, especially Windows server 2016/2019.
• Experience with SQL, relational database systems.
• Experience with software installation.
• Knowledge of virtual environments/cloud.
• Understanding of different types of communication platforms, such as WiFi, IP-DECT, Nurse Call and Paging.
• Experience with VoWiFi.
• Experience of mobile devices (Android) and the added benefits mobility offers end users.
