Verification phase plays an essential part in our company’s delivery process, to ensure our software is compliant with Medical Devices regulations and meets User Requirements and Software Specifications.
The Test Engineer is responsible for creating test cases according to Ascom implementation contract requirements as well as conducting automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by our developers fits its purpose. The Test Engineer is responsible for planning and implementing as well as for documentation of the defined test activities.
Your days will be filled with…
Analyzing and reviewing requirements, specifications and technical manuals to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Applying operational procedures to structured test cases
Defining the correct test environment aimed at verifying and validating the software product
Executing test cases to ensure that product fulfills the software specifications (Integration testing, System Testing, Component Testing, Free exploratory testing, Non regression testing, Stress and performance testing);
Identifying, recording, documenting and tracking bugs - communicating any critical issues to the Test manager
Investigating the causes of software anomalies
Clearing and directing communication with internal teams (e.g. developers and project managers)
Participating in a cross-platform project and working closely with other teams

And you are…
Experienced in software quality assurance and testing
Experienced in writing and executing test cases
Good English written and verbal communication skills
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
Basic knowledge of test automation
Basic knowledge of T-SQL and scripting
Basic knowledge of Medical Devices regulations (ISO 13485, IEC 62304)
5 years of experience in testing or similar role
Experience in the testing of Web Applications and Windows Applications
Minimum of 2 years of experience of working in an agile, fast-paced environment
Experience with implementing IT in HealthCare environments
Experience with Medical Device connectivity
