As a Barclays Technical Migration Manager you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of the project through migration leadership and on business interlock and requirements, gathering data analysis, data mapping, technical assessment and support for the migrations programme. You will work with third party vendors and business units to drive successful migration outcomes and provide data analysis alongside in order to create the migration events aligned to the business units.

What will you be doing?
  • Collaborating with the programme lead, vendors and business units to deliver successful interlock, migrations and technical solutions
  • Working with the wider teams, business and product and programme owners to ensure correct priorities are delivered as part of the programme to facilitate the migration pipeline
  • Ensuring the technical streams are delivered according to plan and assisting in coordinating and planning the delivery
  • Facilitating daily technical sprint and project sessions
  • Using your knowledge of the banks’ migration tooling and data management and delivery of the discovery stream of the programme
  • Supporting the programme delivery team in all relevant technical set up and delivery
  • Identifying and escalating issues and risks in a timely manner to the portfolio lead so that project risk can be mitigated with minimal impact
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in Project planning related to technical delivery and providing plans and recommendations on tools and technologies for migration
  • Ability to manage technical implementations/ Tooling involving changes to services
  • Proven experience as a communicator who can convey technical subject matter clearly adapting to audience
  • Ability to engage with the customer and multiple internal and external vendor teams
Skills That Will Help You In The Role
  • Experience/ knowledge in delivery of large scale complex migration projects
  • Proven ability to deliver to timescales and deadlines
  • Experience in technical infrastructure deliveries and migration process flows
  • Good understanding of Excel and analysing skills
Where will you be working?

You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.
