The role of Team Secretary/Receptionist has become available within the Community Neuro-Rehab Service – South Team – Amersham Hospital.Would you like to use your admin and secretarial skills to make a difference to people with Neurological conditions? If so, we would like to hear from you.The Community Neuro-Rehab Service (CNRS) covers the whole county of Buckinghamshire and is based at two main clinical sites. We are seeking a Team Secretary to support our South Team, based at Amersham Hospital. It would be desirable (but not essential) for the post holder to provide cover to reception at the north team base (Rayners Hedge in Aylesbury) on Fridays.The post is busy and varied, and the post holder would work closely with our dedicated, friendly and supportive clinicians, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists and Speech and Language Therapists. You will be supported by and receive regular supervision from our Admin Lead.
  • Provide secretarial support for all clinicians in the CNRS and the typing of correspondence, including appointment letters, acknowledgement of referrals, confidential reports, preparation and distribution of agendas/supporting documentation and minute taking.
  • Attend weekly Team Meetings (as required), type and distribute an accurate record of the minutes, maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Manage systems to process and log all incoming outpatient referrals.
  • To be responsible for data entry into the Trust database (RiO) in accordance with the Data Protection
  • Act, in a timely and accurate manner, in line with local and national guidance
  • Undertake basic research on behalf of the Outpatient Team if required
  • Insuring timely flow of incoming and outgoing mail
  • Undertake other clerical work as required, including use of photocopier, scanner etc
