We are looking for a Team Memberto join our Supported Living branch in North Lanarkshire for 23.5 hours per week. The current salary is £9.50 per hour with a pay award pending of £10.02 per hour, which will be backdated to 1 December 2021.

The Role

Our Supported Living branch in North Lanarkshire provides support to more than 40 adults, of all ages, throughout North Lanarkshire. The people we support have a variety of support needs, including learning disabilities, autism, dementia, personality disorders and brain injury. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in supporting these individuals with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, assisting with medication and managing their finances. You will support them to do the things they want to do in the community and support them to build upon their independent living skills at home. Our teams adopt a person-centered approach to provide the highest quality support and to enable the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations.

You’ll be joining a small, established team supporting a man to maintain his independence at home. He enjoys going out for lunch and being involved within his local community. He also enjoys dancing, drama, art and watching TV – his favourite are the soaps!

About You

We are looking for people with a real passion to build relationships and positively impact the lives of the people we support. So, whilst it would be beneficial if you have experience in a similar role, this is not essential. What’s most important to us is that you can demonstrate the right values and attitude to make a difference. You’ll receive all the training and support you need through our award-winning Training Academy, including the opportunity to complete a fully funded SVQ qualification.

To be a great Team Member, you will be:

Shift Patterns

The shift pattern will include a long day shift, from 8.00 am to 8.30 pm with occasional shorter shifts. You will be expected to work weekends and public holidays as part of your rota.

If you’re successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration.
