Antibody/ Protein Engineering, Global ADC Leader, Global CRO

Your new company

We have the pleasure of working with a leading fully integrated global research partner for the biopharmaceutical industry, providing biotherapeutic and ADC drug development services to companies and academic groups (including most of the top 20 biopharma’s) all across the world.

Currently holders as the best CRO in the world in the field of ADC’s, they are looking to expand their department, in search of an experienced scientist possessing direct line management and project management experience, specialising in the field of protein engineering!

Your new role

  • As a senior member of the department, you will be managing a team of talented scientists on client-facing projects from the outset, supporting the development and manufacture of multiple antibodies and bioconjugates, created using their advanced technologies in which they are progressed through clinical development by their global partners.


What you’ll need to succeed

  • You will hold a PhD (or equivalent industrial research experience) in Molecular Biology (or in a similar scientific discipline), with an in-depth commercial understanding of, and practical research experience with biologics and, in particular, antibodies.
  • In addition to line and project management experience, you will have solid practical knowledge of protein engineering techniques, including Ab/ Ab formats, and relevant molecular biology skills.
  • You will have experience of using mammalian expression systems (including HEK, and/ or CHO) for recombinant protein expression (e.g., HPLC, SDS-PAGE/ Bioanalyser and subsequent purification (e.g., AKTA, ion exchange, affinity chromatography).
