We are currently recruiting for a full time, permanent Team Leader in our ever growing CPM Department.

This is Monday to Friday 3.30pm to 1.00am on £28,000 per annum.

Purpose of the position
  • Management of a Production Line / Room within the CPM Production Department.

Requirements

Responsibilities

The delivery of all key production metrics in area of ownership.
  • The accurate monitoring, recording and communicating of key production metrics.
  • Real time escalation of raw material supply issues to the Production Shift Manager, WIP Manager and planning department.
  • Investigate and correct deviations from key production metrics.
  • Support the completion of Non-Conformance through effective RCA with the Shift Manager / Technical Lead
  • Challenge and support all CI (continuous improvement) initiatives within your own area of responsibility and the wider functions where appropriate and requested.
  • Ensure effective lines of communications are in place between your areas of responsibility with the Team Leaders and or Production Shift Managers, WIP Management and Planning.
  • Promote positivity and KEPAK Food group values daily – Teamwork, Responsibility, Ambition and Passion for food.
  • Assist the Production Shift Manager with customer, 3rd party and supplier visits within the Production Halls both on a planned and ad hoc basis.
  • Provide honest /constructive input into annual PDR’s of operatives.
  • Promote and participate constructively in all new agreed “ways or working” – daily PULSE meetings, SIC and where appropriate the PMR process and all KEPAK policy & procedures.
  • Report daily staff holidays and absence to the Production shift manager and arrange appropriate cover where necessary.
  • Communicate downtime issues directly to the Production Shift Managers, WIP Manager and Planning
  • Understand and conform to the company’s Health and Safety Programme.
