Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join our partner school in the Birkenhead area. The school is a Primary school and rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

Due to a high demand in support staff our partner school need a Teaching Assistant to work with a selected number of KS1 and KS2 students. These students are in need of dedicated support to get them up to speed. You will be working closely with students who may have behavioural / emotional difficulties.

Daily Duties Include
  • Supporting pupils 1-2-1 and in small groups complete work that has been set by the class teacher
  • Manage challenging behaviour
  • Be a role model for students and setting an example
  • Following safeguarding procedures and reporting any concerns
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience working with young people in any setting from Youth Club, Residential Settings or a school. If you do not have experience you will need to be a graduate in English, Maths or Psychology.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
