Job Title: Art and Design Teacher

Location: Rochdale, OL16

Work Pattern: Term time only.

Salary:Competitive - based on qualifications and experience.

teach195. are seeking Art and Design Teachers to join our dedicated cohort of staff fulfilling positions in Rochdale and surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity for outstanding individuals with a strong background in teaching Art and Design in secondary settings to enhance their experience and career prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Art and Design lessons following the National Curriculum.
  • Create a classroom environment that is inclusive and conducive to learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement of all pupils.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Ability to work with various media to produce the highest quality work.
  • Commitment to safeguarding of all pupils and their families.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an Art and Design Teacher with a track record of achieving positive student outcomes.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Art and Design curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
