CMA are delighted to be working alongside a highly successful accounting firm in Poole looking for a Tax Manager to join them in their Corporate Tax team. This role with form part of the leadership team comprising a mix of both compliance and advisory work as well as team supervision.

What Will The Role Involve
  • Overseeing a varied corporate tax portfolio delivering a high level of service to clients alongside the wider team.
  • Providing high level advice to clients around MBOs, re-orgs, and reconstructions. This firm are a market leader in M&A transactions.
  • Work alongside partners to manage new assignments and client work.
  • Supervise and mentor junior members of the team.
  • Where required, prepare complex tax returns and review junior team members complex returns.
  • Direct contact with HMRC to ensure seamless client service delivery.
  • Ad-hoc personal tax advisory / compliance work where required.
Suitable Candidate
  • CTA qualified ideally although candidate who are CTA studiers or ATT qualified will be seriously considered.
  • Experience managing a tax portfolio.
  • Strong tax compliance experience as well as advisory experience.
  • Experience overseeing junior team-members.
  • Strong up to date tax knowledge.
