We are recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Assistant to join our HR and Payroll team at Snows Head Officebased in Southamptonon a 12 month fixed term contract.The contract will be reviewed near the end of this period with the potential of the role becoming permanant

Your day

As Talend Acquisition Assistant you will report to the HR Manager and provide day to day support to the Talent Acquisition Advisor to ensure our in-house applicant tracking system (iRecruit) is managed and utilised to its fullest. You will support the recruitment and selection process by effectively liaising with candidates, managing job adverts via iRecruit whilst also attending careers days, other promotional events, and onboarding presentations together with being an active participant in delivering the People Agenda.

The role will involve:

  • Providing day to day support to the Talent Acquisition Advisor with proactive recruitment, onboarding, and systems managements
  • Managing vacancies and maintaining our candidate database.
  • Ensuring internal stakeholders receive the highest level of recruitment service. Establishing positive candidate experience and ensuring candidates are engaged during the recruitment process.
  • Running weekly reports.
  • Working with the application tracking system to source potential candidates and circulating their details throughout the business.
  • Liaising with line managers to monitor the recruitment process, logging updates as they occur.
  • Preparing and posting adverts for new and established vacancies.
  • Updating candidates with interview feedback whilst ensuring they understand the next process.
  • Assisting the Talent Acquisition Advisor with the creation of ‘talent bank’.
  • Managing the recruitment inbox and responding to candidate enquires.
  • In conjunction with the wider HR team, manage the onboarding process and manager Head Office introductions.
  • Participating in recruitment events such as careers fairs and apprenticeship open days.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00 (1 hour for lunch)
