Support Worker - Nights, Dewsbury, WF13 2RY We currently have an exciting opportunity for support workers to join a wonderful service in Dewsbury. They have an established team of passionate Support Workers, who are keen to welcome caring individuals to work alongside them in making a real difference to people’s lives! Hours: Nights, working on a rota basis between 8pm and 8am, will require some weekend work. Full or part time hours are available. Pay Rate: £8.91 per hour The home, recently upgraded, is a residential care home for adults with Learning Disabilities. Excellent facilities nearby include swimming pool and sports centre. They are committed to maintaining a happy and expert work force to provide every individual with the support and care they require. They do this by ensuring that the training and personal development needs of our team are identified and met. They support residents with Learning Disabilities, assisting with their daily living, meals, some personal care and simply creating a home from home experience filled with fun and activities. Requirements: Experience in support work either in a personal or professional capacity is preferred. Must be reliable. Must be resilient and also compassionate. Excellent communication skills What They can offer you: Training & Progression will be ongoing throughout your career. You will receive coaching and mentorship through your day-to-day work practice, as well as nationally accredited training for NVQ level 2 and 3.
