We are looking for support workers to join our new service in Whitchurch, supporting a lady to live in her own flat who requires 24/7 support.
This vacancy is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a new challenge working in a person-centred positive behaviour organisation.

What is a support worker?
A support worker is great at building relationships, kind, respectful, patient and supports people to live they life they choose. It is a varied role that can include anything from supporting someone with household tasks like cooking to supporting someone with their hobbies and interests. Everyday is different as a support worker and you will be making a difference to someone’s life everyday.
Some of our roles may include personal care.

Essential Requirements:

  • To be able to work using own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills

Desirable requirements:

  • Level two diploma in Health and Social Care or similar.
  • Level three diploma in Health and Social Care
  • Full UK Driver’s Licence
  • Own Car
  • Experience of working with people with complex/mental health need’s
  • Have an understanding of Person-Centered Planning
  • Have an understanding of Positive Behaviour support.
