Support Worker x 1 position available

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive person to join our team in delivering a high quality and outcome focused service for our clients.
You will be expected to assist clients with activities and sessions that will support their health and well-being in a fun and inclusive way. You will be required to work as part of a team and work with clients to enable them to take more control of their lives.
Individuals have assessed needs and identified outcomes which they take ownership for. You will be supporting them to manage and improve their self-esteem and empower them to become more engaged and confident in their everyday life.
The candidate needs to have patience, humour and like being part of a lively, energetic team. You will be expected to facilitate sessions with other staff members and enjoy a diverse and varied programme throughout the day.

About You

It would be preferrable for applicants to have experience of working within the Care Sector either formally or informally. An NVQ level 2 or equivalent is required and a level of competency in computer skills using Microsoft Office, 1st Aid, moving and handling along with knowledge of the Care Act 2014 would be advantageous but training will be available.
As this post requires some flexibility in the East Cornwall Area it would be beneficial if you are able to drive and have access to a vehicle at times.
