We have a full-time vacancy of 37 hours, 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday, for a Business Support Assistant in Children and Family Services based in Helston Family Hub supporting the work of the Early Help Service in the Family Hubs. The primary role is to provide administrative support in the delivery of those services, supporting operational colleagues and ensuring timely communications with service users and partner agencies.The successful applicant will deliver or assist with a range of tasks including room bookings, records management, meeting administration, financial transactions, inputting of information to the Case Management System and offering information, advice and guidance to our customers.
You will have good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise appropriately with all levels of staff, service users and other agencies. A professional approach applying discretion and diplomacy is essential. The successful applicant will enjoy the challenge of working within a busy team environment, display flexibility and produce good quality, accurate outputs, while often working to deadlines. This role may involve a combination of office/home working. Driving licence and car essential.
Applicants should have 4 GCSEs (A-C), or equivalent, including English and Maths, excellent keyboard skills and demonstrate experience of working in an office environment.
