Personal Assistant required for a happy and lively 12-year-old boy who lives in Launceston.

He has Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Global Learning Difficulties and he would like someone who he can build up a positive relationship with and provide him with some 1:1 support.

He would like someone to support him with his communication and independence. He loves being outdoors, he also loves trains, construction vehicles, Lego, and playing on his game console.

A personal assistant will enable him to enjoy activities in his local community with his family.

Good rate of pay starting at £ 10.00 per hour.

3 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible.

Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.

Car Driver Preferred But Not Essential.

Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.

The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family.
