About The Apprenticeship

As one of the largest manufacturers of construction equipment in Europe, JCB Service provides aftermarket global support through excellent customer service, parts supply and technical service, delivering a sense of urgency every JCB customer should expect.

As a World Parts Centre Warehouse Apprentice you will work at one of JCB’s UK showpiece facilities, where you will develop the knowledge and practical skills to participate in all warehouse and operational functions and processes. You will be expected to train and obtain various licences to drive different types of mechanical handling equipment throughout the warehouse.

Working With Experienced JCB Employees In a Semi-automated Warehouse Environment, This Scheme Will Start You On The Road To a Successful Career In Areas Such As
  • Health and Safety within a warehouse operations environment
  • Receipts processing
  • Order Assembly
  • Quality Inspection
  • Stock Management
  • Problem Resolution
  • Working with warehouse management systems and automation
You will be doing a real job with important business-critical outcomes, have an opportunity to make a difference, all the while working towards a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative apprenticeship qualification, which is recognised across all sectors. Where university graduates will have to prove themselves once they start a career, you will already have already developed essential professional skills by the time you qualify. And with a company that is famous all over the world. A company and role within it which enables you to drive your career forward at a pace which you are capable of achieving, enables diversification into specialist roles or apply to travel to every corner of the world in support of new and exciting products.

Training takes place with one of our dedicated training providers, who pride themselves on providing 1-1 learning. You will have dedicated academic support to ensure you make the very most of your development.  And, once you qualify, you will have real business experience, exposure to how a fast pace organisation works, and knowledge of the day-to-day workings of how your role contributes to overall business objectives. 

About You

Minimum 4 GCSEs, or equivalent, including Maths & English at D/3 or above

Or

Minimum 2 Years Industry Experience
