Job Title: Supply Chain Planning Manager (ASAP Start!!)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Lancaster

Salary: up to 30k-35K P/A pending on experience

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (with an option to work from home on Friday)

The Role

My client is looking for a Supply Chain Planning Manager to help drive and improve the supply chain function of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain specialist who has a real passion for achieving business KPIs through effective management of the supply chain and planning function.

Key Responsibilities

* Responsible for the Supply Chain and Planning function within the business

* Responsible for Production Planning - Downstream

* Responsible for Leading the Supply Chain in delivering balanced Daily Production Plans giving consideration to Inventory Optimisation delivering positive PPV,

* Responsible for forecasting and maintaining Capacity Plan with Customer updates

* Coordinating, planning and managing promo activity with all departments.

* Reporting Forecast accuracy and presenting to key Stakeholders

* Responsible for upstream Material Management

* Responsible for monitoring weekly Raw material requirements

* Responsible for Post-Production Routines and KPI reporting

* Delivering Daily and weekly standard KPIs

* Coordinating with Logistics providers on downstream issues and following through with Customer

* Customer Interfacing (CRM)

* Supply Chain to Supply Chain’ dialogue with customer ensuring alignment on CRM

* Maintaining run rates, aligning with Commercial SCM & Ops Manager

* Supplier Master Data e.g. MOQ, UOM, lead time - Flagging where differs from RACI

* BOM building & management

* Relationship management with internal stakeholders; Sales, Technical, NPD, Production

* Responsible for leading all Supply chain and Planning Projects ensuring involvement from all internal stakeholders

* Responsible for ensuring the following key performance areas are being delivered; Safety - All H&S metrics common across all site departments, Line Efficiency - As per efficiency metric, Waste minimisation, Customer Service Levels, Inventory Optimisation, Continuous Improvement Initiatives

Required experience

*

* At least 4 years of Supply Chain experience in FMCG (Ideally Food Manufacturing)

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Excellent Computer literacy specifically Sage and Excel

* Ability to deliver targets and department objectives.

* KPI/ Target driven

* Although this is currently a standalone position a proven track record showcasing effective People Management is essential

* Strategic Thinking

* Good Commercial awareness

* Strong analytical skills

* Proficient use of ERP systems

* An ability to manage multi projects simultaneously

* Strong ability to influence
