We are now seeking to recruit a Student Records Officer, who is passionate about the effective operation of the University’s systems for the collection, storage and processing analysis of student data.

Working as part of the Digital Experience team, this is an important role focusing on the essential monitoring of students throughout all aspects of the student journey from course enrolment through to graduation and assisting with the resolution of student queries. You will work with students, staff, and external partners to deliver a professional service.

The successful candidate for this role will have previous experience working with databases. This is a fast-paced role, and we are looking for a person who has the energy and commitment needed to ensure we deliver a high standard service provision. You will work together with the Student Records team on key tasks at critical points in the year when tasks are time-contingent therefore will need to be a proactive "team player" who is conscientious and hard-working who actively plays their part in continuing to make Falmouth University a great place to work.

We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:

  • Knowledge of the Higher Education sector (or similar field)
  • Strong administrative experience
  • Experience of working with a recognised Student Records Database and/or relevant systems is ideal
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Customer-focused with the ability to communicate at all levels with internal and external stakeholders
  • Good track record of GDPR compliance
  • Good interpersonal and team working skills, enabling effective working with colleagues and external contacts
  • Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines

This is a permanent, 17.5 hours per week, 52 weeks a year position.
