The Management School is seeking to appoint a proactive and dynamic Team Leader to develop and lead strategies and initiatives to develop and support employability opportunities for our 3500 UG and 950 PGT students.
Working closely with our External Engagement Manager, Associate Deans and the University¿s Careers and Employability Team, you will be an expert in careers and employability and understand the employability landscape at a highly accredited Russell Group Management School. You will lead a team of professional services staff to develop and deliver the School¿s Student Employability Strategy and meet KPIs relating to career skills development and graduate employability. This includes working with the Careers and Employability Team and supporting academic staff on embedded employability, leading on initiatives such as ULMS Extra (UG) and We Can Work It Out (PG), administering our successful Year in Industry programme (UG) and, with, sourcing employability opportunities within the UK and overseas.
You will have a strong understanding of graduate employability needs both in the UK and overseas and experience of developing and delivering employability programmes to diverse groups. You will be an experienced team leader, with an understanding of how to support staff working in a hybrid (campus/home) environment. You should have a degree (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience.
