Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for a Stock Manager to join our team in Livingston on a full-time, permanent basis. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that stock control processes are followed to minimise impact on service and GXO liability.You will play a vital role in supporting and developing the team through leading, coaching, and communicating a focus on business excellence and continuous improvement of operational efficiency and customer service.Pay, benefits and more:We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £33,500 per annum. In addition, we offer 33 days holiday, as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.What you’ll do on a typical day:
  • Support shift managers in the management of stock integrity and investigate all discrepancies by using root cause analysis to identify areas of improvement
  • Continually review all aspects of the operation and deliver improvements in methods, procedures, and efficiency
  • Manage the use of systems applications, so that the operation achieves maximum efficiency levels
  • Ensure management information is supplied to agreed timescales and standards of accuracy
  • Represent the Region on National Stock Calls
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • People management and line management experience
  • Competent in Microsoft and Excel
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, presentation and project management skills
  • Ability to deliver to tight deadlines in an organised and informed manner
  • Someone who has the confidence to question, challenge and deliver continuous processes improvements
