We at GXO are on the lookout for a permanent Stock Controller to support our client in Washington. You’ll be working 40 guaranteed hours per week Monday – Friday.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Assisting colleagues with warehouse system issues
  • Ensuring full stock accuracy and reconciliation is maintained at all times on the system
  • Assistance with stock counts, checks and audits as requested
  • Completing the order release function and label production for Outside Storage load
  • Assisting in the daily stock control for onsite locations and associated outside storage facilities
  • Ensuring full stock accuracy and reconciliation is maintained at all times
  • Maintain the flow of all returns and items sent to the Repairers
  • Use of Warehouse IT systems (WMS DLX, SAP and Microsoft office
  • Provide stakeholders with data and reports as requested

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Microsoft Access Development experience essential, VBA desirable
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge required
  • Experience of working with other computer packages
  • Experience within Stock Control is essential
  • Customer service experience
  • Warehouse processes and operational experience
  • IT, organisational and administration skills are essential
