Location: Kidderminster
Hours: Mon - Thu 7am - 4pm Fri 7am - 11:45pm
Pay: From £10.42 p/h
Contract: Temp - Perm

A local manufacturing company based in Kidderminster are looking for a Steel Operative to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis. As a Steel Operative, you will play a major part in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient production of steel products. The successful candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and will be willing to learn and develop their skills.

The Duties of a Steel Operative:

  • Carry out all skilled work as required
  • Experience using Hand Tools
  • Raise material issues to Production leader
  • Assemble and quality check products
  • Assist with general upkeep
  • Grinding and Polishing metals

The Requirements of a Steel Operative:

  • Experience with hand tools desirable
  • Willing to learn a variety of skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

The role of a Steel Operative is working on a Temporary to Permanent basis being paid £10.42 per hour, assisting with production, ensuring Health and Safety guidelines are followed.
