We are looking for a specialist practitioner (Registered Mental Health Nurse or Social Worker with mental health experience) to support the multi agency teams based at:

Cheshire West and Chester Local Authority Front Door

Cheshire East Front Door

Managerial and professional responsibility for the health provision within I-ART. Provide specialist advice and supervision to both health staff and staff within the I-ART team.

Work collaboratively with senior managers within I-ART to ensure an effective health service is provided for both safeguarding and early help.

Disseminate, communicate and challenge decisions to relevant professionals across the children’s workforce.

Act as a conduit between the front door and mental health services to ensure all mental health services are engaged in safeguarding and early help processes.

To work collaboratively as part of a multi agency team to provide safeguarding and health advice to senior staff within Children’s services.

Lead on developing effective communication systems between I-ART and the CWP safeguarding team.

Support the Named Nurse in reviewing the effectiveness of inter-agency systems

Provide challenge to agencies regarding children and families.

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
