How will your role contribute at NewDay?

We are looking for a People Solutions Specialist as part of the Organisational Effectiveness team is part of the HR function, and made up of Specialists who manage Talent, Performance, People Analytics, Organisational Design and People Change. This role will support the People CoEs on trend research, project management and creation of highly visual communications, enabling execution of scalable initiatives that drive innovation and business value. You will be able to anticipate the needs of your team, have a pulse on the organisation, and deliver solutions that support the flawless execution of key people processes and initiatives.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

  • Partnering with the People CoEs and the business to continuously improve and enhance people guidance, systems, and operational service delivery
  • Executing trend research to provide market insight, drive innovation, and identify emerging needs to help form and deliver people change initiatives
  • Leading end-to-end project delivery including creation of compelling business cases, frameworks, and storyboard execution
  • Supporting the Senior Analytics Specialist on building and iterating executive level presentations, proactively thinking through details and implications, and looking for innovative ways to deliver proposals which consumerise the team and guide people planning and change
  • Working across People and IT to craft and deliver the HR sytems roadmap, acting as key user of all HR information systems
  • Collaborating with IT on HR systems change, co-owning project plans to ensure key achievements are defined and communicated to system product owners, leading all aspects of third party systems supplier relationships
  • Leading post initiative findings to capture feedback and provide relevant insights to the People Team which drive improvements

Your Skills and Experience

  • Background in programme management of projects, with a keen understanding of the project management frameworks
  • A clear understanding of people policies, processes, and practices
  • Ability to storyboard and visually represent ideas; expertise in PowerPoint to build high-end presentations
  • Your previous role(s) will have been in the HR team working across multiple team members
  • Familiar with HR systems, their processes and workflows
