Primary responsibilities include:

  • Identify and address learning and development needs aligned with Belmond’s strategy.
  • Design and implement innovative global learning programs.
  • Collaborate with the Global Learning & Development Director to develop and deploy leadership and management skill development solutions across all business units.
  • Maintain and update global Learning & Development programs to reflect Belmond’s messages and industry advancements, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Take ownership of the e-learning platform, assessing and improving its offerings, and implementing a new collaborative Learning Management System for global training tracking.
  • Support the global Learning & Development community and expand the learning resource library.
  • Assist in building and managing the training budget, ensuring alignment with priorities.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with external vendors, ensuring adherence to accounting practices.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, trends, and practices, making innovative recommendations for Belmond.
  • Represent Belmond as required (at external events and internal meetings) as a proud ambassador of the Learning & Development team, the wider HR function and the organisation.

  • the role is generally able to benefit from our current hybrid working policy where team members are expected to attend the office on their Team Day plus two additional days (i.e. 3 days per week in the office and 2 days remotely).

Requirements

What you Bring:

  • Extensive proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality and/or luxury industry.
  • Training and development experience in an operational capacity with a proven track record in designing and delivering effective learning programs.
  • Strong team and project management skills.
  • Experience in delivering virtual meetings and/or e-learning is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire others through storytelling.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Demonstrates self-awareness, resilience, and promotes collaboration.
  • Acts as an agent of change, championing a growth mindset.
  • Detail-oriented and structured approach to work, with excellent planning skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.
