What You’ll Do

• Be single point of contact for Genomics & Cellular Research franchise key stakeholder, including business general manager and R&D leadership
• Define and deploy a robust sourcing Genomics & Cellular Research Franchise
• Build and Execute strong year/year plan to drive performance in the P&L on key performance indicators including cost, raw material on time delivery, quality, security of supply and sustainability
• Support new product introduction – drive strategic vendor selection, drive robust DFx activities to secure COGS targets, ensure early vendor engagement in design
• Build and grow strategic sourcing team for franchise – grow existing talents and attract new ones
  

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or technical discipline, or a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 15 years in strategic sourcing and 5 years in a leadership position
• Proven track record in driving sustainable change in complex, fast moving organizations
• Prior experience in communicating with external suppliers globally
• Strong team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
• Demonstrated internal/external customer focus - evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
• Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve them, and creates actionable strategies and operational plans
• Change oriented - actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly
