We have an exciting opportunity for a 6-month kick start your career in information technology. You will be working alongside an experienced team of test analysts on our software development projects that we are providing to both internal and external clients.

As a Software Tester you will be able to hone your analytical skills and learn techniques to help you make connections between a software design specification into tests that systematically exercise all aspects of software from the user interface through to the underlying databases and everywhere in between.

You will be working with one of our experienced Test Team and on the job training will be given. There may be opportunities for further formal training as required.

This role is being offered on a 25-hours a week basis, however a full-time role may be available for the right candidate.

Qualifications and experience:

You will already have a passion for technology. You will be comfortable with computers and mainstream productivity applications such as Work and Excel. You will have an eye for detail, be inquisitive, objectively pessimistic and a natural self-starter.

We are looking for candidates with enthusiasm and commitment who can work as part of a team and have a willingness to learn and develop their skills.

You should be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills.

A working knowledge of computer software would be beneficial but is not essential.

Mentoring And Support

You will be provided with a mentor and you will have regular meetings to help you make the most of the opportunities on offer. There will also be daily/weekly team check-ins for an overview of workplans and to identify any challenges that the team can help address.
