Do you have proven experience leading technical teams in groundwater flow models?

Are you looking to join an exciting and expanding environmental engineering company?

We have an exciting vacancy for a Hydrogeologist at the Technical Director level to join our growing team. The position represents a significant opportunity to work with and expand established teams serving the JBA business and our extensive client base. The location for the successful candidate is flexible and JBA has multi-office locations across the UK. Our main teams are based in our offices in Saltaire and Newcastle and we are seeking to build our capability across our other UK offices.

The main purpose of the role is to provide technical leadership in the development, review and overview of groundwater flow models (including MODFLOW, SEEP/W) relating to groundwater recharge, groundwater quality and flow, quarrying/mining and civil engineering schemes.

It is expected that the role will involve a significant degree of cross office working and will be client facing. Therefore, confidence in working with clients in relation to project delivery and business development is essential, as is experience in the preparation of bids and proposals. It is also expected that the successful candidate will assist in the mentoring and professional development of less experienced staff.

Location:

This role will be based at our office in Saltaire or Newcastle, although the location is flexible across the UK and opportunities are available at our alternative office locations.

JBA supports agile working which provides for greater flexibility with the way that we work.
