FX Services - Senior Java Developer, Associate

The Foreign Exchange (FX) Services Technology Team has an opportunity for a talented application developer. You will join an inspiring team of technologists providing innovative solutions for internal and external clients across multiple JP Morgan lines of business through the provision of APIs and services to generate orders in our currency overlay business. Working in this product based environment, you will have the ability to refine the interface and overall user experience as we strive to continue delivering high end products for our customers. You will be responsible for working directly with business stakeholders to gather and analyse their requirements, implement and roll out the complete solution.

  • Ability to work in large, collaborative multi-cultural team to achieve organizational goals
  • Minimum 5 years experience using Java as Programming Language
  • Strong understanding of Object Oriented concept.
  • Proficient knowledge in multithreading.
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Knowledge in Spring, Maven, Git, ReactJS, REST, SQL, and Jenkins is an advantage
