Mitie Telecoms are now leading providers of acquisition, design and construction (ADC) services, specialist managed services of temporary mobile infrastructure, and facilities maintenance for telecoms. The teams design, installation and maintenance experience coupled with Mitie’s leading technology and scale has created a new force in telecoms and numerous exciting opportunities to be part of a growing organisation.

Due to continued growth we are looking for a Site Technician to join the team.

What are the main responsibilities for the Site Technician?

You will assist more senior personnel with tasks as allocated, being the 2nd or 3rd man within a site team, who assists with stores organisation.

The Site Technician will ensure a strong focus on customer satisfaction at all times, ensure all company standards relating to Health & Safety, the Environment and Quality are implemented and followed, whilst maintaining clear and concise records in accordance with company procedures. Key to the role is also keeping up to date with changes to industry and technical standards as directed, and working closely with colleagues, positively contributing within the various teams.

What does our ideal candidate look like?

You will have an outgoing personality who enjoys the outdoors. Ideally the candidate will come from a manual work background or a trade however this is advantageous and not a requirement. The job involves a lot of working at height therefore the ideal candidate will have a head for heights.

The ideal candidate will also display the capability to :-

  • Manage their own workload effectively
  • Have a positive work ethic
  • Be open and approachable, flexible and responsive

Are there any specific requirements for the role?

The role will require NPPV & SC checks.
