Job Description


We are looking for passionate people to join our MITIE team that delivers exceptional every day. Salary: £11 to £12 / hour (Depending on Experience)

Hours: 8 hrs/day

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Option to work 1 or 2 days per week from home after the initial induction

Main Duties:

  • To work closely with various Site Managers to proactively manage the recruitment and onboarding process and assist in any administrative processes
  • To assist HR Business Partner in delivering people plan in recruitment aspect by sourcing talent
  • Support central team by delivering quality customer service across all areas
  • Drive the HR people agenda by sourcing the best talent that helps to deliver exceptional everyday
  • Source and recruit candidates by using company databases
  • Screen candidates resume and job applications
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills and experience
  • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Promote Company’s reputation as “great place to work”
  • Attend weekly conference calls as required.
  • Update internal and external databases and administration systems as required.
  • Accurately file both manually and electronically as per business policy and procedures
  • Have a flexible approach to business support to ensure deadlines are achieved
  • Ownership of data systems to ensure records are maintained and processes followed as appropriate
  • Ensure correct working procedure is followed and that all health and safety company procedures are adhered.

Qualifications
  • Administration experience essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews
  • Relevant experience of Microsoft packages – must have good working knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Must have can-do attitude and flexible approach to the role
  • Ability to manage own time and prioritise workload
  • Relationship building skills – in particular to be a self-starter willing to take the initiative when necessary and excellent ability to work well within a team structure, and support and guide team members as required
  • Ability to work on own initiative to a high level of accuracy and to meet deadlines
  • Ability to generate, develop and present ideas and suggestions for improvements in order to achieve more effective working practises
  • Attention to details
  • Well presented, professional appearance and attitude with a positive and professional approach
  • Excellent time keeping skills and strong planning and organisational ability
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Discretion in dealing with confidential information
  • Ability to travel
  • You will be required to complete the Basic Disclosure (DBS Check)
