As the Site Manager, you will lead the site teams and subcontractors in undertaking the required projects tasks within their designated branch, and you will be responsible for the management and planning of manpower, material and workflow.

You will also ensure compliance with SHE including management of ’risk’, and deputise for the Project Manager as and when required.

Essential And Desirable Criteria

Essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer facing or ability to work with clients at all levels
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent dispute resolution skills
  • Ability to demonstrate experience of supervising teams
  • Work planning/project works
  • Minimum level 4 qualification (NVQ4 or HNC)
  • SMSTS
  • Communication effectively
  • Scaffold inspection
  • Role Appropriate CSCS card
  • First Aid at work certificate
  • Asbestos awareness
  • Excellent understanding of building refurbishment of traditional & non-traditional housing stock
  • IT literate
  • Good working knowledge of MS Project
  • Environmental awareness
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret programmes, drawings and technical specifications.
Desirable
  • CIOB or Construction related membership
  • Knowledge and understanding of ASTA
  • Knowledge of working with different contracts JCT/NEC
  • Quality assurance
  • Temporary works knowledge
