WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
A talented Shift Manager to join our growing team.

Hours of work: 45 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 12:00 - 21:00

DAY TO DAY:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be a crucial member of our management team.

Duties include but are not exhaustive to:
Managing a range of areas and team members including, vehicle equipment, drivers, warehouse operatives, support staff, supervisors and managers.

Maintaining and exceeding operational performance to help meet objectives within the depot.

Manage available resources in a cost-effective manner to ensure costs are in line with budget and reflect levels activity through the warehouse whilst ensuring achievement of service levels.

Understand the key performance areas / indicators of the operation.

Demonstrate promptness and assertiveness when tackling situations.

Deploy resources in a cost effective and efficient manner to ensure service levels are achieved and exceeded Propose changes to operational procedures ensure fit for purpose.

TO DO THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Ideally be in possession of a nationally recognised qualification in Leadership

Demonstrate a background of success in achieving and exceeding targets whilst delivering an outstanding experience in a fast paced environment

Exhibit practical knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety regulations

Have the ability to run a positive, fast paced operation, managing and motivating the team to succeed

Be computer literate and confident in the use of technology and IT systems, including MS office

Have experience working within FMCG/ logistics, warehouses or distribution at supervisory level

Have some experience of managing a budget, working to operational KPI’s and financial targets

Have strong work ethic and desire to help the business succeed
