Job Title: Shift Leader

Reports to: Manager

Hours:33 hours per week unpaid breaks

Pay:£11.90 per hour

Location: Hyton Liverpool (As part of We Care Group, you may be required to work from other locations at the discretion of the company and with appropriate notice)

About you

Are you an organised individual, and able provide care and leadership of a team by best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed-on standards under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Job Overview

Responsibilities and Duties of the Job

  • To provide leadership to the care staff within We Care Group.
  • To provide care by current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager.
  • To supervise the care services within We Care Group by agreed standards.
  • To maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time to time be required to maintain practices as up to date.
  • Develop effective working relationships with other employees within We Care Group.
  • Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary teams to maximize opportunities for residents.
  • Ensure residents are at the heart of the care delivery and that their wishes and preferences enhance their well-being.
  • To ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of the service and supervise staff.
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support.
  • Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by the management.
  • Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
