Job Description

Fixed Term Contract 1 year ( more than likely will be extended)

My Client is looking for a Setting Out Engineer with expertise in trimble equipment, You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of their construction projects. Your primary responsibilities will include setting out for building and foundations, earthworks, and various civil engineering tasks. Utilising your proficiency in trimble equipment, you will contribute to the efficient and effective execution of projects, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
    Conduct setting out activities for building and foundations according to project requirements.
    Perform setting out for earthworks projects, ensuring accurate grading and leveling.
    Utilise Trimble equipment to carry out precise measurements and alignments.
    Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure project objectives are met.
    Maintain accurate records of setting out activities and measurements.
    Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to setting out tasks.
    Adhere to health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on-site.
Requirements:
    Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
    Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer with expertise in Trimble equipment.
    Strong knowledge and understanding of building and foundations setting out, earthworks, and general civil engineering principles.
    Proficiency in operating Trimble Total Stations, GPS equipment, and associated software.
    Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
    Effective communication and teamwork skills.
    Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
    Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and site conditions.
    Prior experience working in construction or civil engineering projects preferred.
