Summary

Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team this role as a Service Assistant plays a core part in providing fantastic customer service. Do you enjoy helping people and providing a great service?

The Hours: 728 hours per year. We’re looking for someone to work flexibly across a7 day rota for one day per week. Weekend working will be necessary, but noevenings or split shifts.

The Salary: £8.91 per hour

Duration: Permanent

This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year

This former cotton mill was built in 1784 and is one of Britain’s greatest industrial heritage sites. The busy estate hosts many schools programmes and events, which help bring Quarry Bank’s fascinating story to life. New areas of the estate will shortly open to the public, creating additional project-based roles. What you’ll be doing

As the largest conservation charity in Europe we work hard to raise funds, so that we can continue to look after the special places that we care for. Visitors are a vital part of what we do, and you’ll be responsible for ensuring that you provide an excellent service to all our visitors, every day. As a Service Assistant, it’s your role to ensure that the welcome everyone visiting the Mill receives is perfect, setting them up for an amazing experience for the rest of the day.

You’ll be responsible for answering queries and making sure visitors can find everything they need for their visit with responsibility for operating our fire lift in the Mill. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. Working with our spirit of place you’ll work with the visitor welcome team to link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do.
