About the team:

We are looking for a Senior Treasury Manager (Financial Modelling) to come and join our Treasury team. The role is based in London and you will report into the Director of Treasury Strategy.

What you will be doing:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the development and implementation of financial modelling into the Treasury Front Office.


Your responsibilities will include…


  • Developing the financial models used for analysing, forecasting and optimisation
  • Owning the full model lifecycle including conceptual design, specification, development, testing, documentation, implementation and embedding
  • Integrating the modelling and analytics into decision making within the business
  • Applying your knowledge of interest rate risk measurement and applying hedging strategy to reduce P&L volatility and keep within risk appetite of the Board and ALCO
  • Using bank liquidity metrics and forecasting methodology to determine funding optimisation scenarios
  • Communicating the insights and business intelligence to key stakeholders within treasury, risk, product areas and committees such as ALCO, Risk Committee and the Board. This will include writing papers and presentations

Could you be the one?:

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Previous experience of model development and implementation within the Financial Services industry
  • Previous coding experience (MATLAB, SAS, SQL)
  • Degree qualified within a quantitative field (mathematics, engineering etc)
