Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital | Permanent | Full time | 37.5 hours per week |Salary £40,500 (depending on skills and experience) and £3,000 Golden HelloOur team in our Wessex Hospital currently have an opportunity for a Senior Theatre Nurse / Senior Operating Department Practitioner.As a Senior Theatre Practitioner at our Wessex Hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC. As well as post-registration experience, you bring knowledge of mentoring and multi-specialty surgical procedures. Ideally, you hold qualifications in teaching and assessment, extensive speciality and management experienceWe are looking for a skilled Scrub Practitioner with primary skills in Spinal and Orthopaedic surgery, with experience or enthusiasm to undertake complex cases in these areas and undertake specialist training with robotic training and teaching.The RoleAs a Senior Theatre Practitioner (Nurse or ODP), you might join us from the NHS or a private setting.   • Enjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient care
  • Provide day-to-day supervision, including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and students
  • Contribute to scheduling and rotas, recruitment, induction, performance reviews and training
