A opportunity has arisen for a temporary (3 months fixed term contract) Senior Resourcing Officer to support with the high volume of recruitment within the Team.

Main duties of the job

The Resourcing team provide daily resourcing support which includes advice to hiring managers and candidates and managing the candidate journey from application through to starting. With an overall workforce of over 19,000 employees we are an extremely busy team and play a crucial aspect in the start of a candidate’s career with us, we are therefore looking for an individual who understands the positive impact this role has on our organisation.

You will support the Team by managing and delivering end to end recruitment. Possessing excellent communication skills you will be confident dealing with manager’s at all levels, you will provide subject matter expertise on all recruitment matters ranging from advertising, sourcing, assessment, on boarding and pre-employment checks. You will be the main point of contact for queries and need to be effective in dealing with complex queries and always be willing to go the extra mile for your managers & candidates.

Efficient, fast paced delivery will be essential to meet the high demands of our organisation. Therefore, you will be no stranger to prioritising and managing your time effectively to meet conflicting demands. Flexibility will be a key part of your work ethic.

As a senior team member, you may be required to supervise other team members and allocate work effectively based on both planned and ad hoc activity. Your proven ability to work well within a team, communicate effectively and with respect and play a supportive role to your team members will therefore be essential.

You may, on occasion be required to work weekends and across the Alliance supporting recruitment activity at our other care organisation sites.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Business Administration or a related field
Desirable criteria
  • CIPD or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential criteria
  • Substantial and recent administrative experience
  • Experience of using Microsoft packages including word and excel
  • Excellent customer care skills,
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working in a fast paced HR / Resourcing environment
  • Working knowledge of medical staffing / resourcing
  • Knowledge of recruitment systems and procedures
