We’re now hiring a Senior Quality Engineer at JCB Compact Products

As The Senior Quality Engineer Reporting To The Quality Manager, You Will Be a Key Member Of The Quality Team With Responsibility For All Aspects Of Quality Within The Business Unit Including
  • Supplier performance
  • Internal processes
  • Customer satisfaction
  • New product introduction
  • Continuous improvement
  • 3rd Party audit requirements
Your Responsibilities As a Senior Quality Engineer
  • Promote Quality achievements and performance through the organisation
  • Development of Quality strategy, objectives, and targets to meet customer expectations
  • Development, planning and achievement of agreed business KPI’s related to Quality
  • The instigation and review of improvement initiatives
  • Support the operational team in all areas of Quality
  • Monitoring of supplier, external(warranty) and internal quality performance. The coordination and implementation of robust actions to resolve identified concerns
  • Management of all Quality activities within the business unit
About You
  • Proven ability to lead teams and develop people within the team
  • Ability to make and influence change and a promoter of delivering results
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of Quality tools and techniques in a continuous improvement environment
  • People Management – build relationships and influence others to deliver objectives
  • Accustomed to operating in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer focussed team player
  • Ability to deal with and resolve conflict
  • Strong knowledge of all fundamental Quality tools (APQP, PPAP, 8D, ISO9001, DFMEA, PFMEA)
  • Strong data management and analysis skills, able to turn complex data into meaningful information.
  • Proven problem solving skills within a comparable Manufacturing and Assembly environment
  • Possess an HNC level, or above, Engineering qualification
