If so, I am currently partnering my client a global leading technology organisation based in Towcester, Northampton are seeking an academically qualified & industry experienced Senior Project Manager - R&D/Optoelectronics to join their expanding R&D facility.

In this position you will be responsible to deliver project management activities within a product development program.

Daily Responsibilities of this Senior Project Manager - R&D/Optoelectronics job are:

*Manage multiple Engineering projects at once with a range of values.
*Facilitate the definition of programme scope, goals, and deliverables.
*Develop an effective relationship with all internal and external stakeholders, e.G. Suppliers, customers, and other business areas.
*Work closely with internal technical teams to define plan, tasks and ensure that internal projects & customer requirements are being met.
*Identification and management of project risk and issues along with mitigation and/or workarounds.

Experience & Skills Requirements for this Senior Project Manager - R&D/Optoelectronics job:

*Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in physics, electronics or equivalent technical discipline.
*5+ years’ experience in Program/Project Management within product development within optoelectronics (preferred), semiconductor technology, automotive, manufacturing, R&D, Product Development, telecommunications
*Prince 2, PMP certification and/or Six Sigma/Lean Certifications
