An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager/Engineer - Instrumentation to join a company who design, manufacture and supply a range of continuous a broad range of cutting edge instrumentation prevention pollution & environmental damage in a variety of location & industries.

This company is based local to Banbury in Oxfordshire and is commutable from a variety of locations. You can be based in the office a couple of days week but also have the option to work from home part time too. You must have a driving licence to apply for this role.

The Sales Manager/Engineer - Instrumentation will be responsible for the following:

- Cover the whole of the UK but also international regions.
- Manage and drive international channel sales partners to increase sales activity & generate new business.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Produce sales activity plans on an annual & quarterly basis whilst hitting sales targets.
- Proactively prospect for customers, making phone calls to generate new sales leads.
- Negotiate and close orders considering price, delivery, payment terms and long-term support.

The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager/Engineer - Instrumentation job will have experience in Sales positions within an engineering business focusing on instrumentation or measurement products.

They will also require a combination of the below to apply for this Sales Manager/Engineer - Instrumentation job:

- A successful candidate will be of graduate calibre, technically minded, and commercially astute. An engineering or business-related degree would be advantageous.
- Experience of managing channel sales partners / distributors.
- A background in industrial instrumentation and monitoring.
- Exposure to international business would be an advantage.
- A desire to advance a career in international technical sales.
