Role Summary

To formulate and execute the paid search strategy across both holiday and hotel products for the Broadway brands ensuring that they meet performance and revenue targets in line with the overall marketing plan and budget. The role will be responsible for the day to day management and optimisation of paid search campaigns across a range of digital channels including Google & Bing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setup, manage & optimise new and existing PPC campaigns on multiple platforms with a focus on increasing sales volume and improving ROAS by increasing conversions while maintaining a positive ROI.
  • Research & analyse keyword performance improvements to drive better quality traffic & improve conversion rate.
  • Undertake ad targeting, segmentation, remarketing & A/B testing in order to optimise campaign success.
  • Create compelling & engaging up to date ad copy whilst ensuring that it is in line with brand guidelines & wider business messaging to improve CTR.
  • Analyse and report on key campaign performance data and strategy to company board level.
  • Analyse, monitor and report on competitors PPC activity & other industry trends to facilitate the required transformations in strategy and implement those improvements.
  • Monitor & evaluate search results & search performance across the major search channels and display networks.
  • Manage & monitor spend to ensure that it is in line with the assigned budgets & strategy.
  • Through web analytics tools & dashboards, ensure that conversion tracking and other KPI measurements are in place & reporting correctly.
  • Continuously develop automated processes to streamline campaign management.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding online development & strategy including landing page optimisation.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure PPC is supporting all on site activity.
  • Maintain partnerships with PPC ad platforms, suppliers & agencies.
  • Keep abreast of search engine, PPC trends & technology related developments.

Skills/Experience Required

  • Minimum of 2 years hands on experience creating & optimising multiple PPC strategies and campaigns.
  • Advanced working knowledge of multiple platforms, e.g. Google AdWords, Bing AdCenter etc.
  • Detailed understanding and experience of relevant supporting technologies such as Google Analytics and the associated data analysis.
  • Demonstrable record of achieving paid search KPI’s in line with wider business strategy.
  • Ability to manage budgets effectively.
  • Proven ability to stay up to date with the latest developments and identify new opportunities and innovations to develop our strategy.
  • Highly analytical and data driven with emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships with a wide range of people across all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine desire to achieve results, both personally and as part of a successful team.
  • Google AdWords Professional certified an advantage but not essential.
  • Management of paid Social campaigns across Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram an advantage but not essential.
  • Previous marketing/competitor trends experience within the travel industry is an advantage but not essential.
