Senior Manager- Learning Disabilities-South-£45K

Benefits £45k plus £5k bonus & mileage paid

Region: Overseeing Regional/Area Managers, Registered Managers from London Boroughs, Berkshire, Surrey, Portsmouth & any new business.

Are you an experienced Senior Manager within the learning disabilities and/or autism healthcare sector, who has experience in multi-site management and is currently looking for the next step? If you are, this is the perfect role for you!

This person will successfully oversee and develop a portfolio of services that cater to adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism. The successful candidate will be responsible for the direct leadership, direction, and management support in all aspects of the operational functions to the clients and Service Managers within the region. You will be required to focus on the consistent quality across the region, as well as continuing the stability, growth, operations, and performance of each service.

A proactive Senior Manager is required and someone that can handle working in a ’fast paced’ environment and has a genuine passion of care and quality for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs.

The Role
  • Will be responsible for the leadership, senior operational management and development of care/clinical services and care governance to ensure high quality care and evidence-based quality care or clinical practice.
  • To contribute to the development of company vision and strategy through a thorough, current understanding of the local and national policy context, local competitive forces and local business opportunities, including new sources of sustainable funding.
  • Originating ideas for new growth and development programmes, new opportunities to be discussed with CEO on a weekly basis & monthly report on business growth to the CEO.
  • Securing funding and business growth through marketing and tendering
  • Representing the organisation externally to partners and funders i.e. Councils,
  • Working with the Financial Controller and Compliance & Quality Assurance Director to ensure accountability for service delivery against financial targets, quality standards, compliance to policy & procedure and to all regulatory requirements and standards - e.g. those of the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Health & Safety Executives etc. and funders such as Local Authorities, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) etc.
  • In collaboration with other members of the management team the Director of Operations will contribute to the strategic development of the Organisation and work to ensure vision and strategic objectives are achieved and the organisation is financially viable and sound.
  • Working closely with the compliance team/ allocated RM to ensure compliance and governance is being completed across the group.
  • Managing the regional and area managers, ensuring that they are compliance.
  • Leading on any tenders
  • Leading and supporting the service in any safeguarding & complaints.
  • Taking an active approach to work closely with commissioners.
