My client, a leading Financial Services business based in South Manchester is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join their team.This business is going from strength to strength, experiencing massive income growth, transformation change and aims to be in the Times top 100 companies to work for this year.A newly created role, you will be responsible for producing the P&L and balance sheet management information. You will uphold a strong control environment across the team, reviewing financial information produced by the Management Accountants. The role also involves the production of accurate financial information for the consolidated Group and its subsidiaries, including technical accounting.Leadership of a small team forms part of the role and the post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the team meet their objectives along with creating an environment of continuous improvement.Stakeholder management is key, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders. The preparation of regulatory returns is required along with taking a leading role in the year end audit as well as other opportunities for leading ad hoc projects.My client is looking for someone who is highly ambitious, you will be rewarded with career progression opportunities and an excellent salary and benefits package.
