Want to be a valued member of the team? We are looking for a Senior IT Desktop Admin to join their hardworking & friendly team for my client based in Rugby, Swift Valley

This is an office based role but can apply for hybrid once probation has been passed.

Location:
Rugby

As a Senior IT Admin you will work:
08:00-16:30 Monday - Friday

As a Senior IT Admin will be paid:
£35k - 36k per year

Job Summary& Dimensions
    The primary function will be to administer the company’s endpoint devices. Responsible for determining and maintaining standards for desktop management as it relates to corporate owned PCs and peripherals.
    Responsible for the overall coordination, control, and maintenance of personal computers (PCs), PC applications, anti-virus software, peripherals, and remote management tools to ensure compatibility and integration with companies’ strategies.
    Supports operation by assisting users with the installation, configuration, and operation of software and operating system patches. This involves administering RMM tools employed to operate the platform, being responsible for the platform architecture, security, compliance and software services needed to operate the platform
The position requires at least 5 years experience in the field of IT operations and IT support. The administrator will rely on extensive experience and judgment to individually and with other team members plan and accomplish goals, perform a variety of different tasks, and will be responsible for the delivery of projects on time and on budget. An ability to work with cross-functional teams will be required. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. A commitment to continuous learning and williness to embrace change is a must. Reporting line will be to the Corporate IT Manager.

Job Accountabilities:
    Monitor networks and associated devices for adherence to key performance indicator
    Ensuring software & hardware is patched and updated according to policy
    Develop automation for routine tasks and maintenance jobs
    Maintain an accurate inventory of all assets
    Provide first level support for business teams
    Perform periodic and regular reporting duties as required
    Keep up to date with current technology trends and improvements
    Investigating new technology as needed
    Assist other teams within IT and the company in general

Min Requirements for the role:
    5 years exp in IT support and operations
    Strong problem-solving skills
    Preferred experience with MS SQL Server administration
    Willingness to pursue and receive continuing education and training
    Able to travel to other supply point locations
    Strong knowledge of windows operating systems, patching and security
