The drive to excel and thrive in an engaged, collaborative environment?Golder is seeking a Senior Implementation Specialist to join our Doncaster office.Working with a wide range of internal and external clients in various industries, the Senior Implementation Consultant will solve complex requirements and develop industry solutions. The Senior Implementation Consultant will identify new opportunities, develop proposals, implement software solutions, and represent Golder Digital Solutions at external events, amongst other activities to ensure that we provide quality solutions to meet our clients’ EHS Software needs.Responsibilities Of The Role Will IncludeSOFTWARE CONFIGURATION AND ENHANCEMENTS
  • Act as the main point of contact for escalations of complex requirements and problem solving for practice across multiple clients.
  • Work with clients to gather detailed requirements for comprehensive design with support of team members and Subject Matter Experts (SME).
  • Interpret customer compliance requirements and business processes in sufficient detail to develop technical specifications for configuration.
  • Build and deliver the advanced configuration per design specifications.
  • Perform and verify configuration is aligned per client requirements by reviewing end to end system testing and providing resolutions and feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex configuration issues during software deployment and rollout activities.
  • Design and develop complex reports, dashboards, and other visualization assets using commercially available software packages and tools.
  • Develop creative solutions for industry challenges to support continuous improvement of client processes.
DATA MANAGEMENT
  • Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL).
  • Meet with clients to understand data transformation requirements and define data management processes.
  • Oversee and perform data cleansing for uploads into software solution.
  • Develop tools to support migration of historical data through data mapping and migration activities.
TECHNICAL WRITING
  • Define and review final technical specifical documentation and training materials.
  • Review and/or write test scripts to facilitate and support clients through Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Document case studies and white papers along with internal and external service offerings
CONSULTING
  • Drive tasks and supporting project timeline, deliverables, and internal and external communication.
  • Support project management including project financials and an ability to define and work within specified budgets and timeframes
  • Prepare and deliver demonstrations of software-based functionality and client specific configuration to customers in both formal and informal settings.
  • Support customer account team during post deployment and rollout activities.
  • Provide the client feedback and identify their opportunities and challenges.
  • Actively manage your workload through effective communication skills, strong initiative, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and the documentation of best practices.
  • Pursue project-based learning and expanding personal and interpersonal skills across diverse project teams with a commitment to team development
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
  • Actively engage with clients and anticipate future needs while providing potential solutions.
  • Identify potential opportunities and drive proposals through to completion with new and existing clients with support of additional Senior Technical Leads.
  • Using industry knowledge and experience, define cost estimates for rough order of magnitudes and proposals.
  • Support Digital Solutions’ Capture Management team.
  • Involvement with Golder Technical Communities to support growth and global client initiatives.
  • Support large and growing Programs by fostering relationships and identifying continuous areas of improvement.
  • Attend and support preparation for conferences (internal and external)
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
  • Drive development and mentorship of employees through quarterly check-ins, training of technical best practices, and supporting completion of employees’ personal and professional goals
  • Support Digital Solutions Team Operations including defining backlog, resolving immediate resourcing needs, and supporting interviews.
  • Ensure Golder policies and procedures are adhered to and have an active role in driving Health and Safety awareness
  • Maintain relationships with current Software partners and monitor new trends and emerging software Partner opportunities.
Required
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • At least seven (7) years’ experience working with an information software platform and/or one or more of the following subject areas: environmental permitting and compliance, occupational health and industrial hygiene, safety incident management, sustainability, and resiliency, and/or quality management or risk management (operational or enterprise).
  • Past experience directing and supporting remote and global teams, including mentoring and training staff.
Desired
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics background.
  • Certifications related to Data Science, Information Management, Business Management, Project Management
  • Bilingual (English and additional language)
