The Senior HR Business Partner role provides a unique opportunity to accelerate local HR capability, working with the Purolite country leadership team to drive people initiatives critical to support ambitious growth targets. Reporting to the Global VP HR, this role will work in tandem with the broader UK HR team to maximise resource efficiency and will be pivotal in building local management capability and employee engagement.

What will you do?
  • You will partner with leaders to provide strategic advice and support across a broad range of areas including generalist HR, talent, development, employee relations, succession planning and performance management.
  • Working with the business leaders to support the development of the post-acquisition strategy and narrative for the short, medium and long-term growth aspirations.
  • You will lead the post-acquisition HR business integration activity for the UK, including the planning & alignment of T&Cs, agreeing the strategy to C&B including job mapping etc, subsequent collective consultation with employee reps, transition and implementation for UK.
  • Collaborate with local, regional, and global HR colleagues and HR Centres of Expertise to drive initiative delivery.
  • Coach and upskill leaders to build capability and drive the HR and broader organisational strategy.
Specific Accountabilities Include

You will be responsible for building strong professional relationships with Management Teams, providing a business partnering as a trusted partner, coach and mentor to managers on people issues.
  • Lead the roll out of and leader engagement with annual people processes and enabling technology (eg performance, reward etc) to empower managers to lead their teams through all aspects of the employee life cycle
  • Collaborate with HR centres of excellence or external providers to support line managers with the delivery of the people agenda.
  • Help leaders build and retain high performing teams through strong focus on high quality recruitment, onboarding, performance, and development.
  • Lead local Talent Assessment & Succession Planning cycles to mitigate business continuity risks and ensure retention/development of key talent.
  • Stay abreast of employment legislation changes and market trends, functional best practices, and relevant competitor strategies to ensure compliance and competitive positioning.
  • Input into business strategies relating to the people agenda, owning the implementation within the assigned business area, actively contributing and collaborating with other HR colleagues as appropriate and lead the execution of local change management projects, harmonization efforts, organizational redesign etc
Knowledge & Experience

Qualified to CIPD Level 7 or relevant professional experience
  • Vendor management
  • Strong generalist HR experience across all HR functions, preferably gained within a fast-paced multinational organisation within a matrix environment
  • HR Project and change experience
  • Superior collaboration, communication, influencing, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with all levels of management.
  • Must possess a high standard of influencing skills with the ability to constructively challenge as appropriate
  • Ability to multitask with strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
  • Continuous improvement focus
  • Ability to work autonomously and make own decisions, but ensure all key stakeholders receive regular progress updates for a successful delivery against objectives
  • Good working knowledge of UK Employment Law
  • Knowledge or experience of Workday and external HR vendor management is desirable
