  • Be flexible, motivated and and excellent communicator.
  • Put patient care first
  • Carry out administrative duties, follow instructions and meet deadlines.
  • Be able to engage with clients to understand their needs in a short space of time
  • Willing to work in a multidisciplinary team within a variety of areas to ensure continuity of patient care.
  • Be willing to learn new skills and experiences to keep updated with the latest knowledge and skills.
  • Be willing to work within a wide range of specialties (orthopaedics, ophthalmology, gynaecology, urology, dermatology, ENT, maxillo-facial, gastro)
  • Assist consultants and nurses with minor procedures, dressings, wound care, phlebotomy, chaperoning and pre-op assessments etc.
To succeed as a Senior Healthcare Support Worker, you will need to:
  • Preferably have relevant experience in a hospital or community practice setting.
  • Use your organizational skills to ensure day-to-day clinics run smoothly.
  • Good IT skills and telephone manner.
  • A can do attitude.
  • Meet the needs of every individual.
